2. Technologies Currently in Use

2.1 Essential consent storage

• Duration: remains until you update your choice or clear local browser storage
• Legal basis: strictly necessary for storing and respecting your consent choice

2.2 Cookieless analytics (on unless you opt out)

To see how many people visit and which pages, posts and links lead to enquiries, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics and our own simple counts. Neither sets cookies, stores anything on your device, or creates an ID for you. Our own counts record only the event (for example "enquiry sent" or "phone link tapped"), the page, where the visit came from (such as a link in one of our posts), the date, a country and whether the device is a phone, tablet or computer. We never record your IP address in them.

• Providers: Cloudflare (Web Analytics) and Moji Studio (our own counts, stored with Cloudflare)
• Purpose: statistics to improve the website and our marketing
• Cookies or device storage: none
• Retention: our own counts are deleted after 13 months; Cloudflare keeps Web Analytics data under its own limited retention
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, relying on the statistical-purposes exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025
• How to switch it off: choose Reject Optional in the cookie banner or Cookie Settings in the footer. We also respect the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.

2.3 MojiChat storage

• Names: mojichat: followed by our site name and device-id (a random visitor ID), open (whether the chat is open) and history (the chat so far). Earlier versions used names starting mojiassistant:; they are renamed the next time you visit
• Type: first-party browser storage, with no cookies. The visitor ID and open setting are in local storage; the chat so far is in session storage, which only that tab can see
• Purpose: lets the chat you opened carry on when you move between pages, and recognises repeat messages so the chat can't be abused
• Required: only if you use the chat. Nothing is stored until you open it
• Duration: the chat so far is cleared once you leave your details or close the tab. The visitor ID and open setting remain until you clear your browser storage. Your name and contact details are never stored on your device
• Legal basis: strictly necessary to provide the chat you ask to use

2.4 Optional analytics cookies

If we enable Google Analytics 4 and you consent, we load it to measure site usage such as page views, traffic patterns, and enquiry conversion events. It is not loaded otherwise.

• Type: first-party analytics cookies set through the Google Analytics 4 service
• Purpose: distinguish visitors, understand usage patterns, and measure website performance

3. What We Do Not Currently Use

We do not currently deploy advertising cookies, retargeting scripts, social media tracking cookies, or heat-mapping tools on this website.

4. Consent

When you first visit the site, you can accept all optional analytics, reject optional analytics, or use the custom settings panel. Rejecting optional analytics also switches off the cookieless analytics in section 2.2. Necessary consent storage remains active because it records your choice.

You can reopen your cookie settings at any time using the Cookie Settings control in the footer.

You can also manage cookies and local browser storage through your browser settings. This may remove saved preferences and affect how the consent banner behaves.
